Human Health and Ecological Risk Assessment

The management of contaminated land is now a key driver for site divestment and development and can be a potential ‘deal breaker’ in terms of its cost, complexity and market perception.  It is therefore of fundamental importance that the actual risks posed by the presence of contaminated land are clearly understood and communicated to the market and regulators, and that any site clean up measures are commensurate with this risk.

The ENSR Team has extensive experience in conducting human health and ecological risk assessments for a broad range of clients, land settings and hazards.  The core of our strength lies in:

  • our knowledge of the needs and requirements of the property management and land development industries;
  • the relevant experience, qualifications and diversity of our team and our knowledge of all relevant key drivers
  • including regulatory requirements;
  • the advanced and flexible risk assessment tools that we employ;  and
  • our ability to effectively communicate these risks.

We pride ourselves on delivering outcomes that serve to maximise the value of contaminated land and to minimise risk for our clients.
